Shockbound Publishing Logo


A few variations. I felt the original colors were too close to my Artomation Factory Logo palette. Because these will both be in my portfolio, I changed the orange to a green. Thoughts? Suggestions?

    I am not as smart to realize what you just said but I like the green a little better than the orange.

    I like it. Nice fonts. Now to get picky...the book is more birdlike than booklike. I think it passes, but you could really sell it by concaving the upper right and left "tops" of the book. Pages just don't lay like that. The binding should have a rounded part coming out of the binding, but then the pages ought to settle down more. I dig the green and blue the best. I think it's creative and memorable. And I am drawn to the rounded (bottom) version the most. But I think you can sell the book by "settling" the pages a touch more. And the center point's a touch too low (on the top where the pages come together)...do I sound like Bob? Way too picky? But, no one else probably would ever notice, AND I do like it : )

    Jen, that's perfect. I actually did notice the problem with the pages after staring at it for a while. You are right. It needs to be fixed. And If you sound like Bob that is a good thing! I need his rough critiques. I miss them.
